Project overview
F5's new EMEA headquarters at Building 100 in Addlestone is a 28,000 sq ft office fit-out designed to create a flagship workplace that supports more than 150 employees. The project aimed to balance high-performing design with a focus on collaboration, client engagement, and adaptability for various functions, such as training and events. Area was previously involved in the redevelopment of Building 100, which achieved BREEAM Excellent and a 5.5 NABERS UK Design for Performance rating, providing a strong foundation for this project.
The design concept, inspired by local natural networks, integrates technology with craft and nature-inspired elements to enhance the work environment. The workplace includes a variety of spaces – open-plan desking, agile work settings, and collaboration lounges – allowing F5ers flexibility in their working styles. Sustainability was prioritized throughout the fit-out, with a waste management process achieving a 98.6% recycling rate, exceeding the project's target.
