Project overview

Venus Aerospace is developing a rotating detonation rocket engine for hypersonic flight, with the goal of flying Vancouver to Hong Kong in under two hours. Founded in 2021, the team grew from two people to 100 in three years, working out of a hangar at the Houston Spaceport.

A hangar is a hard place to think. The echo made it difficult for engineers and product teams to focus or hold a meeting without interruptions, and there were no quiet, private spaces to retreat to.

Venus's facilities manager evaluated several options and chose Bureau for its combination of cost, quality and customer service. The booths have been in constant use ever since, and the company's president, sceptical at first, now uses one as his permanent office.

Because the booths are modular and relocatable, they can move and expand with Venus as the team keeps growing.
Client perspective

What the client said

“I have to admit that when I heard we were going to buy these, I thought the impact would be minimal. But now, this is maybe the most important thing we've done in terms of being able to get work done.”
Bob Ess, President
