About Broadgate Tower
Broadgate Tower is a prominent 33-storey office skyscraper located at 201 Bishopsgate in the City of London. Rising to a height of 165 metres, it offers over 398,000 square feet of premium Grade A office space, featuring large open floor plates and striking panoramic views across Shoreditch and the City. The building was designed by the internationally renowned architectural practice Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and completed in 2008. Its design features distinctive visible steel struts on all-glass façades, and it was constructed above railway lines using air rights to efficiently maximise central London office space. Broadgate Tower is part of the mixed-use Broadgate estate, managed and developed by British Land. The workspace offers a range of amenities, collaboration zones, and is supported by on-site services such as daily cleaning, secure bike storage, showers, and event spaces in the adjacent Storey Club. Sustainability was a core focus in the building's delivery, reflected in its BREEAM 'Excellent' rating and energy efficient systems, such as heat-recovery and smart lighting controls.
